This policy objectively explains what data may be processed when you access TecEdi and what choices are available. Non-essential resources are only loaded after choosing "Accept all".

Responsible and contact

TecEdiis responsible for the TecEdi portal and acts as a controller of data related to its operation. For questions or requests about privacy, please use theContact Page.

Data processed

• Technical data:IP address, date and time, browser, system, and error logs may be processed by the hosting to deliver and protect the website.
• Required preferences:Requested theme and privacy choice are saved locally in the browser for the expected operation of the portal.
• Optional metrics:With your consent, we may record pages accessed, language, active time, and estimated read completion. The random identifier used in these metrics is hashed; name, email, and raw IP are not recorded on this basis.
• Product clicks:Product, article, partner, and time can be counted without a cookie, account, or persistent visitor identifier.
• Contact:If you send an email, we will process the sender's address, the message and the data that is voluntarily included.

Purposes and legal bases

We use this data to make the portal available and protect, remember preferences, measure the performance of content when authorized, respond to messages, comply with legal obligations, and exercise rights. Depending on the purpose, the processing may be based on consent, legitimate interest, compliance with a legal obligation, or regular exercise of rights. You can refuse or revoke consent without losing access to editorial content.

Cookies, Advertising, and External Services

The "Use only necessary" choice keeps metrics and advertising turned off. "Accept all" allows for reading and advertising metrics, but these features are only loaded when they are also configured and enabled by TecEdi. The Do Not Track signal is respected by editorial collection. You can review your choice in "Privacy Preferences" in the footer or delete local data in your browser settings.

Hosting, database, storage and email providers may process data that is strictly necessary to provide these services. Hosting at Vercel and other international providers may involve processing outside of Brazil. Affiliate links lead to the partner's website, which has its own privacy rules.

Articles can embed videos from YouTube or Vimeo. When loading a video, the browser connects to the corresponding platform, which can receive technical data such as IP address, browser, and page of origin according to its own privacy policy.

Retention and security

Metrics identified by hash are eliminated after thirteen months during new collections. Other data is kept only for as long as necessary for the informed purposes, security, legal obligations, or exercise of rights. We adopt technical and access controls to reduce risks, although no service connected to the internet is completely free of failures.

Your rights

The LGPD allows you to request confirmation and access to data, correction, information about sharing, portability according to regulations, opposition, anonymization, blocking or deletion when applicable, and revocation of consent. Requests are free of charge and may require confirmation of identity to protect the holder. Use theContact Page. It is also possible to appeal to the National Data Protection Authority and consumer protection agencies, when applicable.

Kids and updates

TecEdi is a general public editorial portal and does not deliberately request data from children. This policy may change when the portal, legislation or suppliers change. The date of the current version will be informed at the top of the page.
